This program is designed for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and content creators with an established audience. It's not a peer-to-peer referral program, and it's not primarily aimed at coaches looking to share the app with a few clients.

Because we manage every affiliate account by hand, we need to work with partners whose audiences can realistically support at least 50 to 100 conversions per year.

What counts as a qualifying audience?

You're probably a good fit if you have any of the following:

• 10,000+ Instagram followers
• 5,000+ YouTube subscribers
• 5,000+ email newsletter subscribers
• 20,000+ TikTok followers
• 10,000+ monthly podcast downloads
• 20,000+ Twitter/X followers

Audience size isn't everything. If you have a smaller but highly engaged or fast growing following, we'd still love to hear from you. We're not trying to weed people out; we want every partner we bring on to actually succeed.

How it works

When someone signs up for macrobite using your affiliate code, they get a 3 day free trial. If they complete the trial and become a paying subscriber, that's a conversion and you get paid.

You earn 25% of the user's first payment:

$12.50 per new annual subscriber

That's it. macrobite is $50 per year, one simple price, one straightforward payout. No tiers to track, no complicated math.

Payouts are sent via PayPal on the first of the month following each conversion. No delays, no surprises.

Why macrobite's affiliate program is worth your time

macrobite is a premium only app. There's no free tier for users to coast on indefinitely. That means nearly every referral you make has a real shot at converting, unlike freemium apps where the vast majority of users never upgrade. Your effort actually translates into earnings.

Beyond the money:

• Easy to integrate. You don't need to dedicate entire posts or videos to macrobite. A genuine mention in any content related to nutrition, food logging, dieting, or building healthy habits is enough to drive results.

Why we manage accounts manually

macrobite takes user privacy seriously, which means we can't use standard off the shelf affiliate tracking software — those platforms require a level of data collection that would violate our privacy commitments. So we run the program ourselves, by hand. That's why we're selective about who we bring on: we want to make sure the partnership is genuinely worthwhile for both sides.

A note on peer to peer referrals

We'd love to offer a referral program someday. The main challenge is finding a solution that doesn't compromise our users' privacy. If and when that changes, our community will be the first to hear about it.
