Working with a nutritionist inside Macrobite

The Macrobite team · August 6, 2026 · 4 min read

Coaching usually happens in spreadsheets, screenshots, and text threads. Macrobite puts the plan where the logging already happens, so the numbers your nutritionist sets are the numbers you see on your dashboard.

How the connection works

  1. Your nutritionist sends an invite — a link if you're new, or a request straight inside the app if you already have an account.
  2. You accept the connection. Nothing is shared before that.
  3. They prepare a plan: macro targets, weight goals, and supplements with dosage.
  4. You review it and approve. Only then do your targets change.

What your nutritionist can see

Once connected, they see the things that make coaching useful: your logged meals, daily macro progress, supplement adherence, and weight trend. It's read-only visibility plus the ability to propose new plans — they can't quietly rewrite your targets.

Messaging in the same app

Questions get answered where the context lives. Text, photos, and voice notes go through a single conversation with your nutritionist, so "is this portion right?" can be a picture instead of a paragraph.

A plan you approved, in the app you already log in, beats a PDF you opened once.

For nutritionists

The nutritionist portal gives you a client roster, per-client detail with meals and macro rings, supplement adherence, plan proposals with history, reviews, and messaging. Everything is scoped to clients who accepted your invite.
